[QUOTE=sickened1;6231777]...ref. 14270 (36mm), I find it difficult to go back to wearing a Sub date LVc at 40mm. The 36mm is so light, comfortable and most of the time, I hardly notice that it's there (except for some occasional glances down on the dial). Here's a pic of it on my wrist.

I totally agree, the 14270 looks perfect on your wrist, i have a similar size wrist and i love my 114270, i like the Sub and GMT but i think they look too big on my wrist, especially the ceramic with the fat lugs. My next watch will be a 36mm day date, i might get a pre-C Sub or GMT later don't know yet.

Thanks and we should start a club for guys with smaller wrists. I've been thinking about getting a 14060 next.

Oh yeah but I flipped it already. Might get a black dial next time.

I went through many Rolexes before I realized that I like 40mm watches but has to be very thin. Thankfully my PP5167 is all I will probably ever need or want.

Now I'll just have to find one in good condition at a reasonable price.

Always love your pics, Rob. And yeah, I've been reading about the differences between the 2 models (14060 vs 14060m).

Thanks Ed. I have a soft spot for the 14060 since it was my first Rolex and it hasn't lost it's charm on me. If you like the Explorer, you'll like the 14060(M) as it has the same kind of minimalist simplicity and beauty. Enjoy the hunt!

You're not going backwards...
You've just found the right watch for you.
Looks great on your wrist!

Now I'm thinking about getting a 36mm DateJust to go with it. lol I guess I'm going backward (start with some bigger size dials and work my way toward the smaller ones). Has anyone else ever done the same?

Here are some pics just for size comparison.

I guess should feel lucky since I have small, flat wrists that can pull off the 36mm with no problem but I think that's the smallest I'll ever go.

Yah, can't wait! Btw, have you ever thought about putting your Explorer on straps?

Yeah, the 36mm Exp looks absolutely great on a strap and nice pic! I got a bunch of straps but since my wife comandeered the Explorer, she prefers the bracelet. 😉

Oh yeah, I remember you posted that your wife took your Explorer in another thread. Oh well, happy wife, happy life.
