I think we should compared between gmt2 greenhand& blnr

For now you can find greenhand everywhere and prices is very stable and negotaited, if rolex launched new ss gmt model I am sure the blnr will be same situation of blnr.

Gmt & daytona both sport model but different price range

But most peoples will be picked them both in their collection included me too.

As a BLNR owner I can honestly say I doubt it. Rolex hit the mark with the BLNR and even though the forum buzz has slowed down, it's still one of the best watches available. I think the Daytona C occupies a different space in people's collections as well. (It would for me)

Yes. The new models like the Daytona and Explorer are going to compete for wallets so the secondhand price will drift lower.

The green GMT is a great buy right now I'd say.

GMT LN is quite possibly the best Rolex Sport model buy available. Thanks to the success of the BLNR and the eternal Submariner craze.

I think that the DaytonaC just came in at the right time. The BLNR has been out for several years so it's going to be more common to find them and the market is becoming more saturated with the BLNR. However it's not at that point for a significant decrease and idk if it'll reach a point of so much saturation that it hugely effects the price.

Nailed it!!!!

But on a serious note....yes the blnr value will drift lower because of the 116500LN competing for $$, and the fact that there are more of them all the time.
IMHO

Here in the Philippines, there is still a long line in the waiting list of the BLNR in spite of the announcement of the new SS Daytona.

Generally speaking GMT 2 has the best holding price as i have already seen it with the pre-owned one ... double check and best of luck

i think the Daytona ceramic will compete with BLNR for $$$.... as people who initially wanted the BLNR will now want the Daytona

however, I think as people become impatient or find that it may take years to actually be able to buy a Daytona, I think they will gravitate back to getting the BLNR.

So i think at the end of the day the BLNR should kind of hold its value or at least not drop as much as people think it will drop (or at all) as a result of the Daytona

Probably the only thing that will really have an impact is anther GMT....perhaps Coke bezel with SS? Its unlikely Rolex would produce a BLRO in SS

When did Rolex EVER drop their price, especially on a popular model?

My AD recently (since Daytona C launch) sold a used BLNR at £500 over list price because of the limited availability in our area. So pretty sure the prices aren't going to come down.

I was just about to say the same thing. Of course Rolex themselves aren't going to lower the value, but the price will drop. Does the Daytona have anything to do with it? Maybe. Someone already said, people always want the newest hottest thing and will trade or forgo the BLNR to get the Daytona. I see the same thing happening with the 214270.

I think most people would rather just save up and buy the Daytona C rather than flipping the Batman to finance the the other watch.
