I feel there's really nothing wrong with it. Nice to be around others that share my passion.

My "no" answer.....

I read carefully the attributes of the OP and I do none of those actions. Therefore, I answered truthfully.

I do appreciate fine watches, especially Rolex. I enjoy reading about how people make their choices. I enjoying seeing some of the Rolex watches I never knew even existed. I feel that, occasionally, I might have something of value to contribute. Often, the thread triggers a question. The forum has even pushed me to the brink of buying another Rolex.

I have other equally strong interests such as fine cars, fine woodworking tools and fine implements of an outdoor sport that is off limits here.

I see absolutely nothing wrong in the degree of interest the OP has in watches. I think an active and intelligent mind tends to get drawn to fine mechanical things, like watches. They are beautiful and marvelous.

Obsessed.

I've missed a few green lights in my day, trying to capture the perfect wrist shot! When I start hearing the honking behind me, that's when I know my obsession has taken over me! What can I say...it's my passion! Cheers!

It is not unusual for someone to honk at me during a red light, when I am staring at my watch. Normal TRF behavior.

I think most of us can identify with you. I come from 3 generations of watch makers. I am not a watch maker, but a few of my cousins are. I went in a different direction, but still into manufacturing. Thus I have a deep appreciation for precision made mechanical devices. The passion for Rolex is in me as well.

Cheers!

I used to spend a lot of time on IG looking at watches. Had to remove myself because I felt I was spending too much time. Also, I don't polish my watch in my truck after work with a microfiber cloth - I do it with my shirt. ;-) Besides that, I am with you.
