I PM'd the OP to make sure he knew the seller had responded to his thread and that he should come back and reply, as there seem to be some unanswered questions. He played dumb and said he didn't know where/how to post as he's new to the forum. And, yet, it's HIS thread that he started, and he has started other threads previously that he has returned to and made multiple follow-up posts to. So, the notion that he doesn't know how to come respond to his own thread is BS. Sorry.

I personally think he experienced buyer's remorse, started a thread making some baseless accusations against an upstanding member/seller, quickly got called out, and now he's hiding. Meanwhile, as someone noted, his comments, left unaddressed, have the potential to cause some undue harm to an honest seller.

If I'm wrong, he's welcome to return to his own thread and set the record straight.

Agree ^, He's been watching this thread for the past 30 minutes without responding so that (to me) says a lot.

This thread has "weird guy buyer" all over it, and it's not because of his crappy English. Buyers like this are why most sellers don't take PayPal anymore.

Yes, and the OP is not limited in his posting skills - his thread of September 1st shows an ability to post pictures and quick replies...

I think the seller has laid out a logical explanation and the buyer has posted this thread before verifying his qualms via RSC.

Not that I think it will happen as he watched this thread for over an Hour before logging out.

I disagree with this. Read the OP again. He specifically claims to have been surprised to find out the watch was a Z serial. Yet, the seller's ad made it abundantly clear that the watch is a Z serial, in more ways than one. I believe the OP made intentionally false and inflammatory accusations. No doubt about it. And now that he's been called to account, he's avoiding us (while watching).

I explained that in my research prior to buying I found that Y, F, and some early Z's had the flat 4's. This is an early Z serial. He emailed me this morning and I replied this morning. Then he followed up with a call later today (the first I missed because I was in a mtg but he called back 10 min later and we connected). We talked for 10min and I re-explained everything to which he replied he was going to check with Rolex...which I totally encouraged him to do. So am honestly at a loss here since I have replied to every email and sent and also spoken with him over the phone. I have numerous sales done here with zero issues over the years so I'm a little taken aback by the false accusations. I have copies of emails and call logs if needed but I wanted to set the record straight here! Sorry for the long post!

Best,

-Carlos
Have agree and the flat 4 font has been used several times on all the Rolex sports over the past 40 plus years. And things like bezel inserts are not 100% specific to any one single year.Trouble there is a lot of miss-information on the net and with Rolex nothing is written 100% in stone today, and IMHO Mr. Wattanaporn's accusations were not needed, and I strongly suggest he makes a public apology .

And clearly he logged out after reading these posts and realizing that we could see that he was on the site. This guy is so easy to read. I wouldn't expect to see him post here again....unless he comes back with a different account/name in the future.

I can see your point.
Perhaps I was overly tolerant. With such strong feelings about the OP's intent, have you reported him to the Mods already?

The mods have contributed to this thread, as well as others started by the OP, so they are aware.

Is there a way for this whole thread to be erased?
