Looks brilliant! Is the bezel action different to the Sub?

Totally agree Josh! It's a special watch. 2nd time's a charm for me. I'm in heaven with my d-blue. It's funny you mention PP cause I've been seriously thinking about a 5167 lately and of course play through all the possible ways to afford it. I admit it's crossed my mind but for now at least this ones not going anywhere.

Beautiful watch!

Although for me starting out on my first ever Rolex and researching this year before pulling the trigger on a Rolex next year, I'm not as keen on the 44mm Deep Sea. The big thing for me is the Gas Escape Valve text around the glass just not speaking to me, so I would prefer to go for the 40mm Sea Dweller and at that point, I would prefer the Submariner.

Only my opinion though as a one and only (Alright, maybe 2!) kind of guy. If you got a collection though, it's a far more tempting prospect. :)

I wish I had the wrist for that DSSD it would be my choice as well. My 6.5" wont let me anything more than 40mm..

Enjoy it!

The only thing I do not like about it is the text on it: original gas escape valve etc.

Besides that it is absolutely top.

Do you find it being taller gets knocked into things easily?

It looks great on you, quite substantial.

I have a Deepsea and glad its ceramic bezel and good quality glass, as I think I've knocked it a few times mainly into door handles for some reason, not the same with my other watches so I can just presume its because of the thickness.
