I know I could insure it via my home owner's policy, but there are many risks associated with that choice. (lose your Rolex and your whole policy premium goes up in price for many years!!!!).

I am in a quandary as to what to do. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Get a ZULU strap for it, slip it thru, pack the metal bracelet for "occaisons" and go about your biz and dont worry about it !

I believe the personal article policies are considered "separate" and should not effect your over all home policy. These policy are there own separate policies with in the policy.

Give them a call and find out what your options are.

I find this whole thing very bizarre. I just cannot understand how someone can let a material object like a silly watch run their life in this way. I wouldn't store it in a SDB, I'd sell the thing.

Kuwait is a very rich city. On the street, you will see as many Rolls-Royces as the numbers of Ford Explorers and Honda Accords running about on American roads. In the mall, you will see men in their sheik robes flashing platinum Rolexes, diamond DeWitts, and Harry Winstons on their wrists. On top of that, thieves will get their hands chopped off even for stealing a lollipop. So what are you worrying about? Take that Yachty with you and enjoy it.

I agree. If it's not safe for your watch, it ain't safe for you.

Seriously. Kuwait is a great place. Walk around Souk Sharq when you get there, and you'll be disappointed you left it at home in a safe!

I wore mine to a warzone. Thanksgiving last year was like the first 15 minutes of Saving Private Ryan.
