We don’t value these at retail anymore. If we do, please give me a shout. I would love to buy as many as humanly possible at $12,500 each. Even at 25k it’s absurd to ship them out to save a meaningless amount of money considering the risk. Shipping high dollar items is rolling the dice. I certainly don’t want to have to risk that twice. Once from the AD and once back to me.

They were willing to risk that too? They let you take one box and card, when in most places they tell you take the watch and they’ll ship you the box.

Buddy, if this isn’t trolling then you have found the dumbiest way to test your luck.

At this point, please post pictures of the pieces when you tried them and the receipt invoice of the two 2 watches (minus the ADs name). Would love to see that.
And he's not mentioning the "just arrived" SS BLRO he was also offered with a 30% discount on top of the two Daytonas. Fortunately, he didn't took it, it would have been lost with the other two... A pity!

Not true. At least not with the dealers that I have dealt with.

Believe me if this comes to a happy resolution this will be my AD for life. For the record I had no intention to commit any kind of tax fraud and sure my accountant would have made me in compliance come tax season. Thank you again for those of you that have been supportive and understand how some can be skeptical since if the package is never recovered then fraud and/or theft was committed.
If you knew you accountant was going to make you pay the sales tax why would you just not have paid it at the AD and left with both watches and avoided this shipping fiasco you describe? In your original post you explicitly stated that you like to “avoid paying sales tax when purchasing high ticket items”. Now you are contradicting yourself saying you have no intention of committing tax fraud. Nothing about your story is believeable.
