Go for it regardless of Basel 2019! I have the SubC WG 116619 LB and it is absolutely awesome!

Once you wear gold, you may not want to wear anything else (well, except platinum). It just feels better.

I’m in favor of it but would keep 1 ss as a beater like others have mentioned. I recently sold 3 ss pieces and bought the new rg sky. My blnr, sd43 and dj41 were getting zero wrist time as I enjoy wearing my pm pieces more :)

I currently have 2 PM watches and 2 SS. And I have had PM in parallel to SS for 29 years.

I would not be satisfied with only a PM watch. Like others I would recommend to keep one SS, or to sell all the 3 you have, get the PM you want AND a cheap (although nice looking) vintage SS because PM cannot be worn everywhere, every time.

The only one I may keep is the subc because it is hard to let it go....
Keep the sub. maybe the pelagos too.

I'd wait for Basel releases. RG GMT looks amazing IMO and RG Sub might also come out. Imagine olive RG Sub. That would be awesome.

Nothing like a Full Yellow Gold Rolex! Nothing! Amazing presence on the wrist!

I dumped my BLNR and RO 15400 for my 228235 and couldn't be happier.
