I think you misread my post. My point was that I wish they offered it with a gold bracelet in addition to the OF. Great watch though, I’ve come close to purchasing after trying it on for the first time.

I agree, the black will contrast with any skin except black but then you have the RG for that. I have RG coloured skin, esp in the summer, so my RG Nautilus does blend in but then I guess I can say it is a highly luxurious coloured gold watch that is also under the radar.

Maybe platinum is a possibilty. Rolex seem reluctant to put these contrasting material bezels on the full gold models.

I love the watch in general. But I can't buy into rubber with gold. Leather, sure. More gold, even better. Rubber... not my cup of Rolex Tea.

Oh I gotcha. So you were saying that in general, while you like the look of rubber you always end up back on the bracelet.

Therefore not having the option makes this a watch that's not ideal for you.

Did you go with the new dial or previous dial?

Big congrats!

One thought--isn't that a high price considering there's no gold bracelet? Or is there?

Tried it, but too bling for my taste. In white gold, maybe. Or even better, stainless steel. That would be tempting.

I’ll now add after having owned this watch, that while I still think it’s a fantastic watch, the clasp has no EZlink, which is a fail IMO. Even worse, when I asked RSC if they could sell me the piece that would fit from the newer OF models, they said no.

No loyalty to the early OF customers it would seem.

I've got a feeling that's why the strap doesn't fit perfectly at the logs because this year we will see released with a rose gold bracelet as an option

My wife loves hers. Plus with her, the OF fits her perfectly

And even after 1 year it is still holding its value. Actuall, like everything else it looks like it’s a ot $750-$1500 more expensive

+1

Get a rubber B or even the rolex rubber strap on the fourms for much less.

While reading this thread , I have to say that pictures just don't justify for 116655 , it looks way better in person comparing to pictures

In addition to my previous sentiment, I 100% agree, it's a beautiful watch. If it was like 15k or so, that would be good. But due to the price tag and rubber strap, it's hard to justify its current price point and I imagine that causes it not to be at the top of most people's lists.

It's a very comfortable oysterflex that you will not want to remove from the wrist . I have others runner on my submariner , the feeling just so much different and the weight of the watch is perfectly match with the rubber

Rolex Yacht Master 116655 Rose Gold

I love it. I love it so much I just bought one.
Would it look good or better on a bracelet? Maybe. Maybe not.
I also like that this is the strap it comes on. Aside from looking great on the OF you get a PM watch as it was intended from Rolex without the extra price tag of a bracelet. Adding a bracelet in PM will add $11k (cad) to the price.
