After I bought the watch, a week later I went back to the AD as I was walking through that part of town.

There was someone there asking to be put on the waitlist for this watch. Chatted it up with the dude and he said he had been waiting a year on several waitlists already. AD told me the waitlist on this watch was 15 deep.

Really grateful to have lucked out on this one.

I was 2nd or 3rd on the waiting list after walking into an AD with no prior purchase history. I was told 6 months but got it in 3. I think the demand has ramped up a bit.

I was never a TT fan and I have recently been looking at the SS BLRO but can’t stomach paying almost double the MSRP. All of a sudden the CHNR is growing on me. It really is a gorgeous watch and so different with its black & brown bezel and the rose gold. I’m thinking of pulling the trigger on this. Or else I’ve been eyeing the yachmaster rose gold with the black face.
